Centered in Boulder, CO, the Boulder ACO Chapter covers all active duty and retired NOAA Corps officers who reside or work in Colorado or officers in nearby areas without direct representation. NOAA Corps officers interested in being an active member should contact the Boulder ACO leadership via aco.boulder@gmail.com to ensure they are updated in the Boulder ACO’s records.

The Boulder ACO looks to host regular events, aimed at connecting officers with one another and boosting morale. Events are open to all officers, including those from other regions visiting or temporarily working in the area. Please check back to the ACO calendar for future events. Hope to see you there!

UPCOMING EVENTS:

The next opportunity to get together is at the Front Range Science Social Club (FRSSC) event next Thursday, May 15, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Bambei Brewing (100 Superior Plaza Way Suite 102, Superior, CO 80027).

This is a great opportunity for us NOAA Corps folks to get together. We will also have the opportunity to meet others in the science community. I hope to see you there!

Here is some information about the Front Range Science Social Club (FRSSC), note that it is not required to RSVP for the event:

NOAA and UCAR invite you to the second meetup of our new Front Range Science Social Club (FRSSC)! We hope to provide opportunities for science-minded folks to network, share your work, and enjoy a beverage together. Our first event brought more than 100 people from places like: NOAA, EPA, NREL, CO-LABS, NIST, UCAR, NSF/NCAR, CDPHE, and more! Through the feedback from our attendees we are enhancing the experience for round two! This is open to anyone that wants to sign up, you do not need to be a UCAR or NOAA employee, feel free to share it with friends! In fact we've invited industry and private sector colleagues to join the fun!

Our second FRSSC meet up will be on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Please fill out this RSVP form if you intend to come, so that organizers can gauge interest in the club and the venue can prepare appropriately for the event. We look forward to meeting you soon!
